• Luau at Bear & Cindy's: June 16, 2007

 It is that time for the next AZBarbeque shig dig at the Bears. We are hosting a luau at our home in Lakeside on May 26..I think that's right. The saturday of memorial weekend. Come get out of the heat. We will be cooking up some kaulua pig (hawaiian bbq pig), lau lau, lomi lomi salmon, chicken long rice, etc. This is the real deal. We couldn't take our friends to hawaii, so we will be bringing hawaii to you all. Aloha shirts encouraged. PM me for details and directions or feel free to me at 928-369-6098.

AHHHH Bear... That sounds so good... I am already committed to a family camping trip that weekend up at the Grand Canyon... If something comes up and that doesn't work, I will definately be up there at your place.  I love hanging out up there.

I'm sure it will be a great event.  If anyone is looking to get out of the heat, I highly recommend attending this event, Bear & Cindy always put on a great feast and are great people to know.

Welll...that can be remedied. Is this a bad weekend for people? We can easily move it back a couple weeks. I haven't been telling people, just came up with that last night while posting in a daze. Didn't get home from work till 9pm last night. Even the convenience store guy is telling me to slow down and get some rest.
 Anyway, how does 2 weeks later work for folks? Saturday of course.

Oh man Bear,I wish it was at another time too.I will be in Rocky Point that weekend from the 6th thru the 10th. I hope we can get up there sometime this summer though

Ill tell you what, it is hard to plan events around everyone. Learned that lesson the hard way.

What is the actual date of this event?  We are very interested, but need to check the schedule first.  We're looking forward to meeting fellow cookers!

 June 16th is the luau. Send me a PM or call 928-369-6098. It will be an all day event. Pupus (munchies) and drinks will be out all day and the main meal will be mid/late afternoon. Feel free to come in aloha attire.
