Sorry, no pics...I ate them before the flash went off.
Tonight, I grilled some burgers.  Two of the patties, I mixed peanut butter in with the ground beef.  I know, I thought it sounded disgusting before I tried it too, but I've been eating peanut butter ON burgers for years now.  I just never tried mixing it in with the beef patty first.  About a spoonful per 1/2 pound patty did the trick.  A slice of american cheese on top, and a dab of mayo on the bun, and...D-freakin-licious.  If you're not up to it, just try a little peanut butter on a burger sometime...you may end up thanking me.

Hmmm.... I don't know about peanut butter on burgers. I might have to try that some time to see if I like it.

I have been know to spread PB on a burger, actually PB and pickles are a pretty good combo on a burger, never have mixed it in with the meat.  On the same note PB and fried SPAM sammies are pretty tasty!  Chunky or smooth, depends on what you like.

Yeah, the peanut butter is noticeable, but the flavor compliments the burger. Again, if you're not sure, or you just don't care for peanut butter that much, try some on a burger once. Even if it's just a bite.

I've seen it on DDD once or twice. I remember Guy trying it and not liking it at all. I may have to try it though. I also need to really try salsa on pb. It works in Thai food...

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Why do I get the feeling that Force is in his kitchen mixing liquid smoke and peanut butter together to see how it tastes? :)

Used to be a restaurant up in Missouri (south of KC) called the Wheel Inn....famous for their Peanut Butter Burgers.  The place had to be torn down last year to make way for a freeway, but I believe they relocated somewhere in the same town.  Never made it there for one, but if is still around, then it is still on my list of places to eat.

I first had one at the Corvette Diner in San Diego. Not sure he it's still there. There's another chain out there that serves them that just has awesome burgers to begin with. The Boll Wevill. Hmmm, maybe a GUTS road trip?
