For those of you who are on the fence about competing or for those of you who just want to have the opportunity to see how a contest works, sign up for the Rock Springs BBQ Boot Camp.

One of our good Friends, Jim Rhino of Bandit BBQ (http://www.thebbqbootcamp.com/grillsergeants/bandit.htm) is coming out to Arizona to compete at the Rock Springs event and is bringing the Boot Camp with him.

BBQ Booth Camp is a great, unique opportunity offered by the Illinois BBQ Society.  Check out the link http://www.thebbqbootcamp.com/dates/2011/1RockSpringsAZ.htm

He only has 6 spots left in the BBQ Boot Camp, so if you are interested, sign up today and come out and see how a BBQ Comp works from one of the hottest teams in the Mid West.

We are excited to have Jim and his Bandit BBQ Team coming out to compete as well as offering up this great opportunity.

WOW! I came home this evening to a list of 15 people interested in The BBQ Boot Camp...incredible!

Though I haven't gotten in touch with everyone on the growing list (left several messages), I have attempted to call everyone so far. Looks like we're down to 4 spots left on the team for this first come, first served experience.

This is REALLY going to be a lot of fun!!  If any of you have questions about this totally hands-on experience, please feel free to check out http://www.TheBBQBootCamp.com or call me directly at (618) 407-3300.

Looking forward to meeting all of you in Rock Springs!

The Class is during the comp Jim, it's a real live class while in action during the comp.

It's set up for new competitors or competitors who want to learn more about streamlining their processes & procedures..

Great concept..

BBQ Bandit is the Competing Team, the people in the Boot Camp are just hands on with his team..

I attended a Rhino bootcamp last summer in Illinois.  You are in the middle of a real competition in real time.  You see everything that is done and how it is done.  Jim will answer any and all questions and allow some "hands on" as well. No secrets.  In addition he is open, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, a proven winner and entertaining.   You will start the day before in preparation.  You will sleep on site if you desire or leave and come back the morning of the competition, your choice.  You will get value for your investment.  If competition is your goal, this is not only an excellent venue, it is the only one of its kind that I know of.  He will even feed you along the way but bring your own beer!  Dennis Marker

Hey Dennis! Thanks so much for the input! Great to hear from you!

Jim, as Mike mentioned, the 'Boot Camp' runs simultaneous to the competition. This is not a 'sit down and take notes' kind of experience. All 'recruits' have a voice on the team during the actual competition, and can get as 'hands-on' as they want. Though that said, I have promised one of our new AZ recruits that she wouldn't break a nail...unless she wanted to.  :)

Speaking of AZ Recruits, here are the ones I have recieved as of last night:

Bob S. - Glendale, AZ
Cheri S. - Glendale, AZ
Dave D. - Litchfield Park, AZ
Tony E. - Peoria, AZ
Steve T. - Chandler, AZ

I have yet to check the mail today (it's 6:49am here as of this typing), but will check it out around 9:30am and report back as soon as possible.

If anyone has more questions, please feel free to call me! My cell phone is 618-407-3300.

Carpe 'Que,
Jim Rhino
