If I read this right your giving a class at Rock Springs? And is this before the contest?

The Class is during the comp Jim, it's a real live class while in action during the comp.

It's set up for new competitors or competitors who want to learn more about streamlining their processes & procedures..

So are the people in the camp turning in boxes and is the BBQ Bandits a competing team? I just don't see how this works

BBQ Bandit is the Competing Team, the people in the Boot Camp are just hands on with his team..

Mike was my drill Sargent of BBQ him and the AzBarbeque team. As a new person getting into it it sure gives you some insite.

I attended a Rhino bootcamp last summer in Illinois.  You are in the middle of a real competition in real time.  You see everything that is done and how it is done.  Jim will answer any and all questions and allow some "hands on" as well. No secrets.  In addition he is open, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, a proven winner and entertaining.   You will start the day before in preparation.  You will sleep on site if you desire or leave and come back the morning of the competition, your choice.  You will get value for your investment.  If competition is your goal, this is not only an excellent venue, it is the only one of its kind that I know of.  He will even feed you along the way but bring your own beer!  Dennis Marker

Jim, as Mike mentioned, the 'Boot Camp' runs simultaneous to the competition. This is not a 'sit down and take notes' kind of experience. All 'recruits' have a voice on the team during the actual competition, and can get as 'hands-on' as they want. Though that said, I have promised one of our new AZ recruits that she wouldn't break a nail...unless she wanted to.
