I would think it would be a tougher sell for local teams with the event at Prescott on the same day.

It's all fun and games until you run out of wood.....then the neighbors will lose a tree.

They had sponsorship issues.  3 of them backed out.

Guess that means I better get some money over to Tommy.

Bummed this cancelled, it would have been nice in Laughlin, but now that it has, hopefully we see some more teams sign up for Tommy's Prescott one..

That one should be a fun one...  ;)

I also got word of the cancellation, I've got some friends in Bullhead who gave me the headsup. Too bad, well I'm hoping to meet some members at the Pala event.

I posted in the other thread with more details but again, I am sorry we had to kill this event.  We spent so much time trying to find funding and sponsors because we knew the event depended on funding.  I know many of our have doubted us from the beginning and that is fine.  We have been very successful organizing events in our area but Laughlin is just a different animal.  The Riverside Resort was very easy to work with but the rest of the community could not get behind it.  Feel free to email me with any questions.
