Ron, I won't know until tomorrow.  I think we have enough judges, but some might not show or want to eat this much brisket..

Dealing with the typical UDS chaos.  2 13lbers on at 9:30 this evening.  Both already about 165.

Due to the way it cooks ( faster ) it always causes me to doubt the Therma Pen, doubt the meat, etc.  Anyway, trying a heat diverter in UDS now, hoping to slow things down.  Otherwise, I'll be tossing into the cooler about 3:30 and hoping things stay hot till I get there.

On another note, the beer is still cold.....

I am happy I read this, I am having the same issue with my 13lb'er... Started at 3:00 and it's reading 177. I was freaking out! I'm going to go move the probe from the point to the flat. All is good now! whew!

I probably should have been home cooking last night. After a night at Whiskey River, I feel like I'm the one that's been on the smoker all night. Wonder how much sleep Kevin and Chris got?

went to bed at 3... thats enough sleep! for some reason i slept in the back of my SUV though.  :'(
