I am in, puts me down for deuce. My 14 year old son has got the bug (how cool is that)!  Had his buddies over the other day for smoked food. It's fun to watch him being mac daddy working the smoker and I don't mean like how Johnny works the smoker either, poor pig, my kid is cooking!

This is a "FUN" contest, so let's make sure we remember that.  It's a chance to cook up a Brisket and maybe try out a few different methods or recipes in anticipation of the upcoming events.

Ralph, I know Smitty and I know he was just joking, but in all seriously, Ralph is one of the most integrable people I know and if his wife turned in a Brisket and he was judging, I know he would not give any favoritism.  Heck, he probably wouldn't know it was her Brisket anyway.

Certainly looking forward to this event.  Always a fun one..

Smitty, was that me? I don't see a quote. When was it? I may be able to plead slight impairment at the time. Not like it was before noon on a workday. :)
