Hey all, the registration forms should be ready by the end of the week.
It will loosely follow the IBCA rules.
Chicken - 6 or 7 pieces, sauce has to be cooked on, Thigh, Wing or Leg
Pork Ribs - either cut is OK, sauce has to be cooked on 6 or 7 ribs.
Hamburger - Has to be beef, you can add in what you like, but remember, you are out to please a group of judges. Min 2 hamburgers with Bun (has to be enough for 7 judges to taste)
You can arrive on Tuesday, July 3rd after 3 pm and have to be there by Wednesday, July 4th at 10 am. Meet turn in times most likely will be at 2 pm Hamburger, 3 pm Chicken, 4 pm Ribs.
There is a limit of 20 teams, so the first teams to sign up, the better.
Cooking methods are: Fires must be wood, charcoal or propane. Pit may include gas or electricity to start natural substance and for full cooking if desired. This means, if some of you lurkers only have a propane grill, you are welcome for this contest as well.
The Grand Champion of this event will receive a Free entry into the November Triple Crown Event (Southwest International BBQ Cook-off), so make sure you put your best food forward as the stakes are high.

RV's are allowed, but there are no hookups. Right now, we do not have electricity either, but we are working on that.
