Well Guys,

I am sorry I cannot attend the Social, as we are having a block party up here in Anthem. But I am cooking.   The wife and I got home last night from a small party on the 37 th floor of the Chase building downtown.  I won ticket off the radio.  There were about 100 people and they had The Band Survivor playing.  Yes that Band "The Eye of The Tiger"  etc.  It was a blast, right back to high school and right up front at the stage.

Got home around 10 PM and took out, trimmed and injected three butts and a store bought corned beef point.  Fired up the Stump's, put the Stoker on and got it to 235 in about 30 min.  Put the butts and corned beef on at 11:30, had two beers and went to bed.  ;D  I slept good too Thom.

Woke up at 7 and the butts were about 170 internal.  They are still on the grill, will pull in a few hours.  Put two racks of rib and two fatties (stuffed with onions, cream cheese and some texas Pepper Jelly Pineapple Hab) on and added some more Pistachio chunks.  I have pulled the Smoked Corned Beef, I don't know how it will turn out but I thought it might be fun.

I hope everyone eats well and have a Happy St Patty's Day.

Wow David, that does sound like a busy night, but fun.

We will miss you over here today, but enjoy that Block Party, they are always a blast.

Hope to see you soon at another event.

David, was that Peakerman's Party?

Shredded smoked corned beef sounds pretty darn good to me.

Did I mention that I got about 4 hours of sleep?

Hey Vince,

Just woke up and trying to shake off the block party.  My ribs, pulled pork and BBQ beans were a big hit.  But the beer and the giant Costco size bottle of Patron was bigger.  Green Jello shots to boot.  The host got smashed, it was funny.

To answer your question, yes it was the Peakerman Party.  I won tickets on Mary's show last tuesday.  It was a blast.  Close and up front to the stage, only about 100 people it would guess.

Now I am getting ready to go watch the Giant's play in Scottsdale.  Taking the wife and the boys.   ;D

I would have helped with that 2.5 gallons but someone had to drive home.

Hey, I offered to take more off your hands... As it was, I kept a gallon Zip lock full of it and it did taste great later...  ;)  Still have a bit of it left.  I certainly have to get one of those machines as well...  :D

Hey - I just figured I would be a good neighbor and share with toys4dlr since he's close by and missed the party.

Anyway - Mike you helped enough with the first 2.5 gals.

So - toys4dlr - PM me and we can get together sometime.
