Hey all, what's your plans for next Saturday evening/night? (March 17th, 2007)  Bonnie and I are thinking about having some people over the house to hang out, have a few drinks, cook up some food, etc.

Maybe play some cards (Spades, Hold'em, etc).

What's the interest?

We live off of Shea & 130th St., Thinking about 5 pm till

I was supposed to be in Vegas next weekend for NASCAR, but it just didn't work out.  I'm bummed, so I'm looking for something to offset it..

St. Patrick's Day is the following Saturday, March 17.

Come on, Mike, you know I always have to stay sober when I'm driving.  I'm a "professional"!!!

Sorry about the NASCAR thing bottoming out on you.  That sucks.

Sounds good to me...  I will check to make sure it is free, for some reason, something is sticking in my mind for that day, but I will verify that it is free and let everyone know.

Yup, It's a "GO" for Saturday, March 17th.  Just something very informal, a few drinks, some good food, play some cards, just hang out.

Let me know who is in.  Probably get it going around 5 or 6 pm, what's the consensus?

Pot luck sounds good to me.... Green Pork Butt, I love it..    Wonder what other "Green" food we could have here... Hmmmm, I will have to think on that for a bit.

Don't forget to wear your green.

Maybe Tim & Teresa will be ready for a "HouseWarming" Party by the 17th and we could have it at his place.  Less Driving for you then Vince...

I like the idea of a pot luck, especially if Tim and Teresa take the plunge and want to make this a housewarming event for their new home.

Put us down for Green Pork Butt regardless of location!

Green Corn Bread
Green Potato Salad
Cole Slaw (of course)
Green Eggs & Ham (hard cooked eggs, most likely)

Green Jell-O (sans the carrot shavings please)

Good morning,I had to wait to get to work to post because all my computer stuff is still packed up,but should be up and working by wed or thurs.I am all for a St.Patricks get-together.I don't think our house will be "together" enough for a cook-out yet,but it is coming soo.Teresa and I are planning a house warming cook-out soon ! Mike,if you want to do a get-together let me know,I can bring anything we need,beans,pork,ribs,chicken,salads,whatever.Let me know !
