AZ mvd says the state does not require trailors with smokers built on them to have a plate... they also said, cities within the state may have codes that address that...... go figure.....

That is everywhere in every state....... ie.. the state just passed the use and sale of certain fireworks.. however, cities can create a code that prohibits that in their city.......

I've never heard that one before. In fact I called the MVD not too long ago and they told me it MUST be licensed. Told them it was for competition only and not catering. She said it would qualify for a permanent plate.

If you have two or more trailers, just license one, pay for one, and move your plate from one to another. Been doing that for 20 years.

I spoke to the MVD top dog in person at 59th and Bell station... those were his words and he showed me the statue on his computer... he also told me that generally don't plate those rigs but if I wanted to he would..

Probably one of those: They'll take the money from those that are willing to pay. Just like photo radar.  ;)
