Sorry - Newbie here - what does bump mean?

Bump is supposed to mean "Bring Up My Post".  It is supposed to be used to bring a thread back to the top of a forum topic list so that it doesnt get lost or overlooked by forum members.  

Unfortunately, it is very rarely used properly in this forum.

If anyone read that last post that this one replaced, it is a good lesson not to leave the thread open on your desk especially when you work with dumbasses.
