Even though i haven't post much. We are working hard on getting our team up and running. Hopefully we are finally going to use the old Tex A Que smoker next week for the first time.
 But enough of that. We have narrowed our choices down to 2 logos for our team. Would like everyones opinion on our logo.

i like the flames from the second one and the writing and spelling from the first. that would include the layout of the words too.

also want to mention that your nephew did well on both.

Hey. Just like at my office...everyone's a creative director.
Actually, I'd recommend a different tweak. What sets you apart in your name is "Da Boyz." I'd make that big, dominant and centered and consider "BBQ" playing the secondary role, centered and beneath. Almost everyone has BBQ in their name, but youse guys iz Da Boyz. Just my two cents (which at my agency would probably set you back a couple grand.)
