Crash will have some good info on it.  It is the smaller version of the Excel that a lot of our members have.

The Amigos are the smallest of the three cookers currently being made by Pro Q.  They should hold up to 50lbs of food and have two cooking levels like their larger cousins, the Frontier and the Excel 20.  There is a thermo built into the top that really isn't the best gauge to go by when cooking.  All Pro Q cookers have the locking chambers and side handles that make moving it a snap.

Decent little cooker, maybe a bit better for those just starting out.

The price is decent, but you might see if you can get it for $60.

If he got it for $60, might make a great chicken cooker...

No one answered my question so I took to youtube...

Watch this video...go to about the 5:50 mark.  It is open at the bottom like an ECB. I would image long cooks are gonna be a pain just like they are on an ECB. The unit is not sealed and so I imagine it wont work like the frontier or 20 for temp control over long cooks.

I can give you a free ECB...used once.  ;)

Paid $50 for it new in box.  It'll do until I can afford a BDS.  My little Amigo and I can learn together.
