Methinks I just figgered it out--Are you in Dysart IA? We've got a main drag on the west edge--well maybe not edge anymore, but anyway a road called Dysart, a Dysart school district, and I believe a town or community called Dysart along it, all on the western edge of Phoenix. I'm thinking it hasn't EVER seen a blizzard such as you've obviously experienced, judging from those huge drifts on the bench in the background.
It seems like that much snow to me after 25 years away from it!! Milwaukee was mizzable! I went to Minneapolis in the dead of winter once, and the snow at that time was about 5' deep. Snow along the side of the road seemed like it was 7' high. I can see around the corner when it's 117 outside. I can't drive, cuz I can't touch the steering wheel without risking 3rd degree burns on my hands...In the summer, we go to the store, buy wood chips and spareribs, open em both and dump them in the trunk. Drive home, wait an hour and a half, go clean the trunk out, and the ribs are done.
