I hear ya, Smitty.  And you are right.  Southern AZ teams need to have a fighting chance to win.  So I am opting out of the north / south competition.

No sir - you can't be the official spokesman for Southern AZ BBQ teams and not be included! There are some great cooks down south that I highly respect - this challenge could go either way. I think Mark and can come up with a team vs. team challenge that will be fair for both sides.

Nothing like seeing devils smack down wildcats, if not in football or basketball let it be BBQ. Unfortunately I'm working the weekend of the event and can't make it. I'm sure as an  in-partial BBQ judge of high moral and ethical standards when judging north would win.

Mike bring the banner we used at Golden Acorn maybe they can use it over the judges tent or something.

Should we worry that the results are being calculated and verified by a Sun Devil? Not only because there might be "miscalculations" but also because of the low ASU education standards.   Should we be skeptical?  Is there impartiality? Just askin..........

LOL, you give me too much credit.  Nancy & Jim do all the stuff with the scoring and I have no idea what their college affiliation is.

You know that all the scoring is done with Integrity.  After all, we are trying to expand nationwide with the BCS.  Already have a few comps outside Arizona we are talking with.  You never know where we might wind up next.

Im good with the match up except for one addition I would like 2sons to go against 145 Grill as mike has worked so hard to get this together I think we can put him in the mix and I also believe Mike P. is a great addition to the South. So without further ado like get this party started.
