Well it's the end of the week and the Super Bowl is right around the corner. I made all these foods for the Steelers / Ravens game and they were a hit. If you make any of them let me know what you think.

Halushski  --- better than taters any day
1 lb extra wide egg noodles --- cooked
1 medium chopped
4 cups cabbage chopped
Melt a ¼ lb of butter in a skillet big enough to hold all ingredients --- brown onions and cabbage do not burn. Add ¼ lb butter melt and add noodles, mix, salt and pepper to taste.
Go Steelers --- another bird will hit the dirt

Jim,  Thanks for posting all these all week.  They certainly sound great and I will have to give some of them a try soon.

Have a great Superbowl Party yourself and post some pictures after it.  ;)

Halushski  --- better than taters any day     You got that right.  What is your nationality?  I'm polish and cook up a batch a few times a year with polish sausage.  GREAT meal.  I have some cooked polish sausage left over from a few weeks ago so it looks like for my side of the party:  Polish sausage, halushski and chili......

How about pickled eggs.  My father loved them with his beer.  The aftermath was not pretty and my mother use to make him sit outside.  Aw fond memories.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!
