Thanks guys... April 17th 2010 Event update... We now have more than 13 Sponsors in line. Teams are starting to send entry forms -- Only $250 before January 15th, 2010.. $300 after. So far 15 teams are 100% confirmed. Vendor forms have just been completed and I've began to send those out. Awards will be for top 10 places in each category- cash awards for top 3 in each category as well as trophies to top 5, 5th-10th -ribbon or other awards (TBD)...
2 State Senators are coming, 1 Governor (Baja's so far) the other has an invitation (Arnold), and a few other celebrities.. The Food Network might still film the event, as we are about to get Rachel Ray to commit? (I'll know more by Monday pm).. Many other invitees yet to respond. Media coverage could be spreading to all TV stations in SD and LA (again will know more for sure here after a Monday am meeting I have in Oceanside- concerning another Rotary Event- that will have many of the same media attachments to ours--kill 2 birds with one stone, sort off).

Our Website for the BBQ challenge is under construction- (not by me- not my strentgh) but I am told will be up and running by January 1st 2010.
Event is sanctioned by the IBCA and is about to be proclaimed a State Championship event by the Governor.
