My name is Michael. I am part of the Smith Family Robinson Team. I am the son of Ted and Cindy. Ted is Grill Sergeant on this forum. Many of you have seen some of my work at the BBQ Island Compation I competed in the back yard division and with the help of all my team mates we took Grand Champion. I love cooking and look forward to honing my BBQ skills. I have a time share as we call it on our team with a Treager smoker. I also just purchased new BBQ Pro Excel 20's. I am an Aircraft Sheetmetal Mechanic and love working with metal I am in the process of searching out plans and Ideas to start building some of my own custom smoker creations. Hope to see you all soon at a Comp.

I helped judge the 4 meat at Tempe, (THANX, MIKE,) but was severely distracted by the turn-ins for Backyard. What gorgeous, delicious looking food that was!
Welcome aboard. We anxiously await your metallic creations!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Welcome Michael.  That Pro Q Excel 20 is a rocking piece of work.  If you need any advice or assistance on it (I'm sure you dont after that GC Backyard at Tempe), I'd be happy to help.

Welcome again dude.

Welcome to the forum son. Glad you got smart and left the east coast and moved back to AZ. Were glad to have you on our team. Looking forward to more of your creative BBQ. Let's put that new Excel 20 to the test. You know you have to keep them tuned up, they needed to be used at least 2 to 3 times a week or they just don't work as well. We'll be glad to come over and help you get rid of all the great food. >:D
