Hello my name is markone my team name is team satchell. I from denver colorado i like to cook so one day i heard of a comp in pueblo colorado so not knowing what to do i sent in the money and showed up. I won first in sauce and won first in anything butt second comp i came in third in pulled pork. 3 comp i did not win. But the best thing i found out that everyone was willing to help me out and i think that was more imporant then winning. It was like a family get together. Real nice people in the barbeque world that,s what i like. I wish the best to all the teams this year and hope you all get a call. Talk to you later.

Pueblo--That's near the Grand Canyon, isn't it? (nyuck nyuck)
Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy it here, and come on down for some competition. Sounds like you're a natural. Have you gone to our equipment thread and posted pics? We like pics. Easier than reading. Check out Diva's breakfast post. It's a bumped oldie, but I'm real glad Mike bumped it! I'll have to wow the fam with it this month.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Welcome, Pueblo is a great contest. That's where we got our first first in brisket a few years back. Just couldn't make it back....1600 mile round trip. Congrats on your finishes and keep on practicing. Hope to see ya down the road some day.
