Tucson az. I was looking at the "upcoming events" and I found nothing on the calender. Very curious to go and check out some local events if there are any. And even enter if possible. I saw the hog pits pitmaster today at the culinary festival. I have been into cooking both bbq and other for many many years. used a smoker many times. I got a lot of good information today and am itching to get something cooking. all of the wood places are closed today (sunday) anyway just wanted to say wud up! I know I will have some questions as I am going to get back into my smoker which I havnt used in a couple years.

Welcome to the forum.

Afraid there aren't any Tucson events scheduled.  Last year and earlier this year there were some, but that has kind of fallen by the wayside.  There are some full comps (4 meats) coming up.  Check the KCBS website or grandcanyonstateBBQ.com
