Hello all, very newbie team here.  Participated (1st ever) at the last minute with my 15 year old son at the Saddle Sore event last weekend with borrowed equipment.  Had a blast and met some fantastice people who gave us tips and ideas.  Look forward to picking up a couple of WSM's to add to our offset and compete again soon.

Welcome to the site, great to have you.  Glad to hear your first experience was a good one.  Unfortunately now you are hooked and probably addicted like the rest of us.

Welcome to the madness,

Just a note, Be prepared to get the checkbook out.     We went from 1 Kamado on September 06, to 6 cookers (No where close to Jay's 20) and a toy hauler. 

It is a great time and good people.  And if your name gets calles, it get a whole lot better.  Way to go and just dive in to the deep end.  See you around and the comps.

Thanks guys, we will be back.  Got hooked just driving onto the SS ranch, smelled so goooood!!  I did find the WSM's on Amazon so off to shop we go........don't tell the wife, I am going to blame it on very small aliens (kinda looks like a spaceship!)
