Hey everyone just joined the board and heard about you guys from the event up in Scottsdale a month back.

Bought my XL Green Egg last weekend, all up and running now, just have a few more accessories to get.

Still trying to figure the thing out but if anyone has any suggestions please send them over.

Welcome Wayne,

glad you joined us!

the best suggestion is keep at it. You will learn something new each time you cook. What really helped me to improve is when I started keeping accurate note each time. From temperature, to spices etc... Let's be honest once we have had a few beers we don't remember much after that ;D ;D

Oh, the BGE is just a money pit. I suggest you bring it over to my house for disposal.
No one has ever come up with that one before...(cough cough)
I'd dearly love to have one of those suckers! Another great BGE resource is http://www.nakedwhiz.com/

Also a great resource for anyone researching lump charcoal.

Welcome to the forum. A great place for extra discourse! We love pictures, so figger out how to post 'em!!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!
