Hi Everyone,

I'm the person who bought the Bubba Keg Grill off of Mike.  I've been in AZ for three years and really like living here but I really miss Texas style barbecue......don't ask me what it is but I know it when I eat it.  I'm still familiarizing myself with my new toy but if anyone knows of any good "Texas-style" brisket or rib recipes please forward them to me.  I'd also appreciate any book recommendations you might have.

Regards,

Thanks Mark....I'm taking a look at the videos now.   I'll let you know how my 1st brisket goes but don't think I'll get to it until after the holidays.

When cooking brisket, first trim it by half. Then cook it longer than you thought + 1 hour.  ;D
Glad you joined up!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Pleased to see you here.  Hope you have a good time with your cooker.  I'm not one for recipes but the book I love is called Peace, Love, and Barbecue by Mike Mills.  I say between that book and this site I've learned everything I know about BBQ and it's still growing.  Love it here!
