I thought I'd toss a note out and introduce myself. 

I am Lyle from Ogden Ut. and have been actively involved in the Utah Barbecue Association for the last several years where I currently serve on the Board of Directors (http://utahbbq.org/).  I am a CBJ but spend much of my time on the organizing side so I don't get to do much judging locally.  I really enjoy working with all of the BBQ teams and I feel that I have learned a lot by just watching and listening.  I have three WSM's and cook almost every weekend, when I graduate from college at the end of this month I will be cooking more since I won't have any professors to report to.  I look forward to meeting you all either on this board or at a comp in the future.

Lyle, welcome to the site, great to have you on here.  Sounds like you are keeping plenty busy with BBQ and School.  That's the great thing about BBQ, it's relaxing...

I figured I just as well as have some fun with it rather crying over spilled milk, I lost the left one above the knee in a farming accident 30 years ago.  It's never slowed me down, the only thing I can't do is use my toes when I count my blessings!!  

Hopefully I'll see some of you at Snowbird; I might end up having to go a wedding that weekend instead.  Gotta keep the rest of the family happy too!!
