Greetings from Tucson, I love pecan but haven't found a plentiful source yet. Mesquite is great, can be a little overpowering if not careful, but it is everywhere and cheap. Enjoy.

By the way, Autorotator, are you a helicopter pilot? Just wondering. I'm a fixed-wing pilot, and I know that autorotating is an emergency procedure for chopper pilots.
Yeah, I  fly helicopters. Just got laid off from a corporate flying gig in Oklahoma, so I moved back to AZ where my kiddos are. What are you flying?

Cessna 172's. Nothing special, I'm only a private pilot, although I wish it was how I made a living. I flew out of Scottsdale, but am looking for a new place to rent.

Sometimes I wish I would have went the "stuck wing" route. Then I'd have time to sip on my coffee and read the paper in between stops.  :D

Ha! Yeah, I've heard it's complex flying those helo's. The Cessna's you just stick 'em in the air, point them in the right direction, and wait. Even easier with a gps tied into the autopilot.

Pecan from a sponsor is sure possible and french's meat shop on mcdowell/hayden in scottsdale is not a bad place.
