Hello, whoever may be reading this.  I'm a bbq fanatic, just got done building a "grill-zebo", which is basically a deck with a roof on it and two sides so I can cook when it rains...just for my cookers.  I have a 22-1/2" Weber silver, which is my main grill, a Brinkmann 2600, which I use when I want to cook something quick (I'm not a propane guy), and a char-broil smoker I got for father's day a couple years ago and finally used it this past memorial day.  I'm interested in finding out how others cook, with what cookers, and always wanting to increase my skills. I'd trade all my cookers for one weber ranch kettle...just thought I'd throw that out there in case I get any takers.  I've got a large family (me, my wife, our 5 kids and our niece and nephew that live with us), my wife has seven siblings with large families, and we always seem to be hosting the gatherings here.  I love to grill for everyone, and could use a larger cooker.  Look forward to reading all the ideas and tips there are on the site!

Thanks for the welcomes.  I've looked through the forums some, and it seems like there are some big-timers here.  Trying to see if any others have cooked "different" things on the grill.  I've cooked pizza on my Weber silver before, and I've got the wok-top for it, which I've made stir-fry in and made that into egg rolls which I then dropped into my turkey fryer.  I'm always trying to think of something that's not traditionally made on a grill, and looking for some more ideas.

Welcome to the forum. I'll bet we can find some unconventional here!! I made pizza on my Smoke'n'Pit once. I thought it was...strange. I may try again sometime. Get around to meeting at some of the get togethers that are frequently arranged--do as I say, not as I do. I'd love to attend some of the crawls, or the inaugural G.U.T.S. event today. This is a fantastic group of fun lovin' folks, and some excellent fire handlers as well.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!
