Having been recruited by the Plowboy for the Pulte cookoff, I'm looking forward to getting back out to Arizona to see some friends that I've never actually had the opportunity to meet and a few that I have.  I'm looking forward to it!

Welcome, George. What part of TX? I lived in Abilene for 5 years...a long, long time ago. I still dislike CW music as a result...

DFW is home these days. Mom is still in San Antonio, and both of my folks are from a small town north of Abilene.  I've lived in Austin, and plan to retire between Houston and College Station.

My daughter graduated from Mesquite HS...I drove up to Anson in Jones county when I got married the first time. That's about all the exploring I did north...Fort Phanotm Hill? Ha. Worse "Lake Bunch O' Rocks" than Lake Pleasant.

I know that area well.  My Dad's family was from a little further north in Haskell.
