Ron, Welcome once again, I just sent you a welcome PM also.

Great to have you onboard here, we do have a great group of BBQers here so jump on in and enjoy.

Hope to see you out here in AZ eventually at some of our great events and maybe a few of us will be able to get up there someday for an event as well.

Ron, glad you joined our merry band. Get yourself a long staff, and well raid the Sheriff of Notting...oops wrong thread.
OK, I dunno where that came from.
I used to live in MKE, first in Bay View neighborhood, then on the east side briefly, before I was driven out by the damn cold. Bah. 115 beats he!! outta -20 and windy. Maybe if I'd surrounded myself with cookers all winter...
Mom went to high school in the SW corner, just a bit south of Spring Green, near Dodgeville.
Maybe you can come down and see our particular brand of celebration early December for our Tempe cook off. Bring warm clothes, it might drop below 50...That and no humidity in the summer is why I stay here!!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

A Fattie...A rolled up sausage concoction that is smoked, recipes variations are endless. Otherwise a small meatloaf like roll of heaven. You fill it with cheeses, veggies, meats... whatever you desire. Its really very good, especially when you top it with a bacon wrap.

Here is a link to a site with pictures and shows a pretty good start. Now take that information and let your taste buds and imagination run wild.
