I’m new here so let me tell you a little about my self.
I love to do BBQ, Smokin meat and Dutch oven cook.
I’m the Vice President of Nevada largest ATV club, my wife and I ride two to three times a month with club members and friends.
Last year I started bring my smoker with me on the clubs weekend rides.
On Saturday nights we have a big pot luck dinner after the ride.
I start my smoker up around 4:00am and pull the meat out around 5:00pm for the pot luck.
Boy I have become popular at the club rides now.
I getting ready to designing my outdoor kitchen so maybe some of you could let me know what you have found work best for you.

I look forward to getting to know all of you on this forum.
Who knows we may met some day at a  BBQ.

Thank you
Timm Martin

Timm,

Great to have you online here.  I too am into the ATV club thing, we have a huge one here in Arizona called Riding Arizona http://www.ridingarizona.com/

I love going on the group rides, haven't done many of them lately, but I do love them.  I have yet to take my smoker out to one of the events, but I can see how you would be the most popular guy there after the rides.

We have a lot of really great members on here and lots of great info.  I look forward to meeting you soon at an event and who knows, maybe coming up there to Nevada and riding on some of your great trails..

Enjoy the site and if there is anything I can do to help you out, please let me know..  ;)

Hi Timm-
Welcome! I am also a newbie here. It sounds like you have a good amount of experience. I am sure you are popular with your ATV friends. That smell must make everyone drool when they are riding! Do you have any pics of you, your family, or your smoking conquests? I am also interested in seeing other people's outdoor kitchens. We have plans to build one as well. We are putting in a smoker & a pizza oven. We are so busy with work right now that things are on hold. I'd love some inspiration to get going on our project.

Welcome aboard, Timm!  What type of smoker(s) do you have?  Are you planning to compete?  There's a comp at Boulder City that I was interested in entering, but it's a bit of a drive for some of my teammates to go on. :(

Colleen - Pizza oven?  Why not get a BGE and have some versatility?

We already have a commercial pizza oven & a smoker and a stainless grill. So, we just want to have countertops added to connect everything, and maybe a bar....

Welocome Timm. What are you looking for in an outdoor kitchen? One for your home or a portable one for the rides?

Dont forget the pizza oven. A brick oven will do pizzas, breads, pasta cooked in clay, mid-east/african/indian breads, tandoori.
