Thank you for the warm welcome,

I do not currently BBQ but I do enjoy eating it.  :P  Thanks to all of the adventuresome people out there creating the delicious BBQ.
My Brother is Smitty250 from "Loot N' Booty".  I may just start up a little smoker of my own!

I will keep u posted on how it is going here.

Hey Craig, welcome to the site, great to have you here.  Hope you enjoy the site, you don't have to cook BBQ to love it.

Hope to see you out here at some events.  Your brother has gotten the bug and addiction like the rest of us and I'm sure he will have you out to help soon.  ;)

Welcome to the board Craig, and we won't hold your brother against you. Any questions you have, just ask. You'll probably get 43 different opinions. All meant in the spirit of BBQ.

Hey Craig. We'll have Sterling cooking better in no time. Actually, he probably cooks quite well, but the level of talent out here is just so much higher than the national average...
Welcome to our site. What part of the EC do you call home? I think Smitty may have said, but I don't remember. I'm from the northern DC 'burbs, myself.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

I will find one and plan on coming out probably after first of the year though.    I have a plan to turn an old grill into a smoker so I possibly could just one day make my way out there and show BIG bro up!!!   Is there a thread you could inform me of for what material would make a good fire box?

Thought up a cool name for a team when I get one together.  I will have to get an old friend to draw it up!   ;D

Without knowing the type of smoker you wish to build. I'd google "smoker fireboxes". It will give you a ton of ideas.

Sounds good.  Just trying something a little different than the Barrel of fun I have seen on here.  Something small you know to get the learning curve started somewhere.
