My name is Mike and I've been smoking BBQ for about 10 years, I have my original new braunfels offset smoker (so much thicker steel than new ones), 2 masterbuilt propanes :GASP: (oldest 8 years old) I used for my long smokes and recently took the plunge and got a like new used green egg (wow). IM still learning the egg, I wouldn't say I'm a egg head but I do appreciate the temp consistency and fuel for a long smoke, I did 20 hrs without reloading and flavor and temp spot on.
My favorites to smoke are Cherry Smoked Prime Rib,Pecan Smoked Brisket,Pecan Smoked Ribs,Pulled Pork.
