Hello all you AZ BBQ'rs!!  I'm new to the site but not to Q!!  I lived in Mesa, AZ for fifteen yrs.  Worked at Kay's Lawnmower on Broadway as the Parts Manager '86-'98.  My brother, who still lives in Chandler got me interested in smoking and taught me what he knew, then after moving to Utah I started smoking on my own.  It has only been this past year that I have done much towards getting involved with others that love Q as much as I do.  I became a CBJ at Snowbird this summer and helped judge at RNR in SLC.  Now I just need to get my brother on here and hopefully get him involved in a competition team! 8)

Hello and Welcome to the site once again.  It's great to have you.

Sounds like you have the same "Bug" that all of us here have.  It's good to know we are not alone with our addiction.

We look forward to seeing you and your Brother on here more enjoying the site and hope to eventually meet you both soon out at some of our great events.

Hope you enjoy the site and all it has to offer.

Hello,

Welcome, I'm new here as well.

I lived in Orem for five years about 65 miles south of where you're located.  Beautiful country up there.  I really enjoyed it.

I'm back in Arizona now, which has it's own advantages, but sometimes I miss being 5 minutes from the mouth of the canyon.  When I lived in Utah I could leave work by 5:00 and by 5:15 be in the middle of the canyon knee deep in the Provo river with a fly pole.  I didn't take advantage of it nearly as much as I should have.
