Just moved to the valley from Texas, with a stop in Pennsylvania for a couple of years. I'm married with two lovely daughters. Looking forward to join a local group so I can hone my bbq skills. I smoke all parts, it it had feet it can be smoked is my moto. I have to say though I love pork ribs, shoulder and beef brisket the most though. I look forward to meeting some of the members at one of the events..Chandler perhaps?

Glad you came aboard. Several ex texans here. I used to live in Abilene, tho' I'm not an ex Tex, and my oldest graduated from Mesquite HS.  Where were ya in Tx, where in the valley are ya, and tell us all about your hardware, too. I think we still have a 'tell us about your smokers' thread.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!
