Howdy to all in AZBBQ land! I hail from the Old North State of Carolina. I've been lucky enough to eat some of the best Q known to man, and I can't wait to sample what AZ has to offer. My favorite Aunt and I will be traveling to Az to get her certified as a judge.. and for me to table captain and judge at the sun city fest. Will be my first visit to the Phoenix area.
I look forward to sharing and gaining knowledge on this forum.

Good to have you, Chuck. I was a Blue Devil in an earlier life. 'Course, that was my High School, in the heart of Terps country. Don't hold my Maryland ties agin me. I'll be a freshly trained judge at Pulte this year. I'll eagerly absorb any pointers you'd like to give me.
And it still sounds wrong to put cole slaw on a sandwich. OTOH, that's not that far a reach from lettuce, shredded carrots and Mayo/MW. So maybe.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Hey. Watch your language. This is a family forum...

just kidding.

I'm sorry. I'm just bored, waiting the last 15 minutes for Mac 'n' Cheese ala Martin. It's been in the oven forever...
