Hello my name is Aaron Whitehead of Big T's BBQ located in Desert Center, CA at the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. Im am the son of BBQ extraordinaire Anthony "Big T" Whitehead. We are looking forward to networking and meeting new friends throughout the region whether on the net or at some of the upcoming events. My father has been Q'ing for a long time and he is a master at his craft. My goal is to help get his great tasting BBQ out there for the masses to taste for he has been praised by people who have had it at different events and venues over the last 6 years. If you've been or know someone who has been to the Best Dam BBQ in Boulder City, NV you'll know how good Big T's BBQ is. We are currently doing research on the events throughout the CA, AZ, and NV region and we are looking forward to participating in the ones that we are able to attend. If there is any info or advice that anyone thinks may be helpful to our search as we explore the BBQ world feel free to let us know.  Hope to see you all soon!

Welcome aboard, Aaron. As you can see, Phil's favorite key is the big one with the arrow on it...
Looking forward to meeting you at some of our events. Queen Creek in October is a new one, but the signature event is the Pulte in mid November. And it's closer to CA than the other ones...(like once you've driven from LA it makes a difference!)

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!
