Hey Peeps,

Just signed up last week, My name is Travis and I am originally from San Diego and some how I call Buckeye, AZ home now.  I am friends with Patrick and Shyla from Tex a Que and have been their chicken dude since Havasu.  The first competion I ever went to was Pulte last year and I have been hooked ever since.  I think I have met alot of you guys at some of the competitions. Patrick gave me a smoker so Im going to try to cause some backyard carnage of my own.  Hope all is well and see ya in Scottsdale.   Now how do I light this thing?

Glad to have ya here. I'm the guy whose daughter sat with the boxer for about 45 minutes at Tempe in December--and used your guys' deep fryer for the Scotch Eggs.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Welcome aboard Travis. I too moved here in the early 90s from San Diego. Love Pt. Loma and Newport Ave. Had my 40th birthday party at the Sunshine. (Probably just as well I left). Enough about me, welcome.
