Was at my local HD today and they had piles of twin 20lbs bags for $7.97. I need to stop buying this stuff.  :)

SWEET! I've been waiting for this for the last several months. Last time I bought 20 of the twin bags, and I ran out far sooner than I had expected.  Thx!

Great!  It's weird they switched from the big bags but hey, this is about as good a deal as you'll find these days.  Perfect timing too as I'm almost out.

Remarkably, the price is the same at our HD's out here.  That almost never happens.

So charcoal price is .21 a pound. It would be interesting to know what the total freight cost from origin to retail was for that.  Never mind actual production cost.

I think the government pays them to take toxic waste off their hands to convert it into briquettes. Plus, I hear they're made by Keebler Elves in their down time. 8)

Hopefully the 20lbs bags will be on sale come Memorial Day weekend like they've done in the past. Almost out of my 400# stash from last year
