New!
Saw a Smoke-Daddy a few weeks ago and thought I could make a few improvements
to it for my application. I'll probably never cold smoke (maybe).
I like the idea of controlling the duration and volume of smoke when cooking
without having to deal with adding or layering chips in the UDS charcoal basket, etc.
I like the air pump idea and used it in the Smoke-Pak, but here are a few design mods;
1. DIY project with excellent results
2. Quick Connect couplers - easy install and removal and seals tight when not in use
3. Adjustable input tube - adjusts to any angle
4. Hinged and pivot caps - No need to remove to access - covers stay attached and can be used for venting, etc.
5. Simple eye bolt to allow removal and transport when warm
6. Optional legs to adapt the Smoke-Pak to other types of smokers
7. Off the shelf fittings and pipes that are available that can make the Smoke-Pak adapt to most any smoker.
Get it stared with part of a Kingsford self-lighting charcoal, toss in the chips, turn on the pump and let it go!
Here's a short video of the Smoke-Pak in action;
