I stopped by a New BBQ Restaurant that opened up a few weeks ago in Scottsdale today and met with the owner Steve.
He and I have been talking for a few years, he has been trying to open up a place for a while, but with the economy the way it is, it just didn't make sense.
So, he found the perfect scenario. He partners with the Breakfast Joynt which is only open until 2:30 pm each day as they do Breakfast & lunch. He now serves late lunch & Dinner out of this Restaurant.
In Talking with Steve over the years and today, it is obvious that he has an incredible passion for BBQ. He laid our the spread today when I was there as well. I tasted just about everything on the menu.
He has 3 different flavors of Ribs, all of them incredible. His Pulled Pork & Brisket were awesome as well. His Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Beans & Roasted Potatoes were incredible as well, he makes them each fresh each day and they sure tasted like it.
I told him I would stop back in later this week with some of our club members for a late lunch.

He also is planning on smoking up a Prime Rib this weekend as a special menu item, I told him I would plan to stop in for that as well.
