Anthem's very own Q-To-U-BBQ was listed as one of the Fave BBQ around the Country by Chile Pepper Magazines . How Did we miss getting mentioned in this list.

Must be saying The Chile Pepper Magazine is a real magazine.
Never heard of the Blog. Oyster.
All I got from it was someone marketing some cookers great names. But BBQ NYC, reminds me of the Pace commerical.

So true. I gotta wonder how Blue Smoke would stand up against any of the names in KC, Memphis or Texas.
The next time I'm in NYC the only BBQ joint I wanna look up is Paul Kirk's R.U.B.

So Mark, do you think he's actually on site, or are they just using his name?

I talked with Paul about it years ago when it was in the planning stages. He invested some serious time there getting it up and running, but I'm sure his protege is the day-to-day pitmaster using Paul's recipes. Paul Kirk as a resident New Yorker would be like me as a jockey...an uncomfortable fit.
But he did make some concessions to the local palates like BBQ housemade pastrami.
