One closes and two more pop up.

I talked with these guys a few weeks ago, they are opening 2 places, one in Phoenix and one in Old Town Scottsdale.  Supposedly, they have been doing this for a while and are opening with proven recipes and menu.

Looking forward to seeing them and trying them out..

It's located at:

5037 S. 24th St.
Phoenix, AZ.

It's on the NE corner

I stopped in there last week, it seems like it's going to be a nice place, they plan on serving on Butcher paper with Wonder Bread, true Texas BBQ Style.  I am excited for them and look forward to trying them out..

That brings back memories of Hodge's BBQ back in the early 70's. It was located at about 10th Street & Washington. Meat was taken from the pit, sliced fresh and ladled with a warm, thin spicy sauce and served with a fistful of Wonder Bread.

Man, I wanted to open with butcher paper and wonder, but I was too scared.  I hope it works for them.  I feel people here expect a little more, because they don't really know what true BBQ is.

Could it be from the BBQ shows that are trying to make BBQ 5 star? ;D
