New!
We used to live north of Atlanta and Speedys was well known! We had a mission which was to try and find a different bbq place at least twice a month. We focused on the hole in the wall joints (except Corky's memphis bbq who we love to this day). Speedys and some others use that "all you can eat" as a draw and then most people fill up on the bread and soda so don't really eat all that much meat, win/win for all!
We found a place in Tennesse that does absolutely NO advertising, has a sign about the size of a real estate sign out on the corner of the road they're on and has very limited parking except on the shoulder of a curvey road. It has to be some of the BEST down and dirty bbq I've eaten in quite a while.
I'll come back to this and post a couple of pic's once I find 'em on my drive... Found 'em!
This is the place..
These two sheds are where the smokers are and are about 200 yards from the actual restaurant
This is the road in front of the place
This is how they get the meat from smoker to kitchen, they told me they go through about 600 lbs a day.
