I've seen it, I think it is north of the freeway on Dysart.  BBQ joint.  Interested to hear how it was.

Make sure to tell them about AZBarbeque, we would love to have them onboard as one of our great club sponsors while helping to promote them at the same time..

Ok, here's an honest review. I'm dissapointed that I didnt get to meet the owner Walt. We had a meetup planned for some sportbike riders. Not many showed up, so I was dissapointed at that. I love the Ducati pics on the walls. It's clear he spent alot of cash on atmosphere. There were pa speaker mounted on the walls and a very nice mixer.  On to the review. They use a fast eddies pellet fed smoker. It's hard to not have good BBQ, cooking with that. It was good. Walts has his own brand of sauces, bbq, hot and raspberry. I tryed them all and liked the hot the best. The pulled pork sandwich I got was ok. It was kinda chewy. I got mac and cheese and slaw for sides. I'd skip the mac next time. Tasted alot like boxed kraft. The slaw was ok. Not great but not bad. To be honest, I will give it another shot. I hope everything is a little bit better next time. The girls that waited on us were great. A for service. Good night.

He has bucks... but no real experience in BBQ... he is a good guy......with deep pockets....... he should check out competitions...... if he learned some tricks.. he could boost the quality of his product........ I know he wants to be successful.........

Poked my head in. Just saw one young girl working there.  Seemed like the Subway of BBQ. If I was hungry, I may have eaten something just to try it, but not this time.

I went there a few weeks ago,
I have to say I am not interested in going back.
I agree he needs to get more time with some seasoned cooks.

I live close to Walt's and had seen it several time as we go that way.  Stopped there last month, I just had to check it out.  Pulled pork sandwich was not good.  I only ate half, cole slaw was so so.  I did see Walt.  I actually thought another guy was Walt but it turned out he was vendor (i think)  we spoke and that when he told me the guy outside looking at a Harley was Walt.  Now that is the guy who had walked by me twice (only one inside) and look at me but never said a word.  25 years in the Restaurant biz for me so I beleive I know good quality and customer appreciation.   I was really disappointed as we don't (or I don't know where they are) have any good BBQ stops in the far west valley.  Sorry Walt hope you make some changes.

Don, if Crash doesn't see this thread, send him a PM. He lives over there and should be able to help with a BBQ restaurant.
