My personal worst cooking accident was when I was 23 and working as a manager in Las Vegas for a place called Pick up Stix. There's a couple here in town. Good asian food...
I was working on some catering orders and cooking some fried rice. an idiot new guy thought it would be cute to put white wine in the eggs i was using for fried rice. When it hit the super heated oil it ignited and exploded. I had flaming egg,oil and whine burning through my shirt and skin. At the emergency room they actually had to cut out some that embedded itself into my chest.
Needless to say when I came back I I had to do some interviews.
second worst accident I lost all the hair on my arm and nearly all te hair on my head.... been shaving my head ever since....
