Hello All:

I am new to the forum, and am having a pig roast this weekend.  I have already ordered the 90lb pig, and am having no luck finding a BBQ to grill it on.  I am looking for a covered, LP, trailer mounted grill.  I have probably made 40 phone calls with no luck.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I may find one of these on short notice, for a reasonable (or better yet, minimal to none) fee?

I have access to a wood fired smoker, but given that I have never done one this way, I was hoping to stick to the method I already know.

Welcome, James. Not alot of people on here are using gas that way. I might be speaking too soon though. You'd have better results, I'd think, with that wood-fired smoker. There may be someone here with the knowledge to make it in smoothly, or better yet, someone with some free time to help out. Some of us work pretty cheap, like for que and beer! I don't know of anyone that has a propane Whole Hog cooker.  Most of us have the Stick burners.

What side of the Valley are you looking to use it on?  That might help with seeing if we have anyone that could help you out.

I do know of a few of our members who rent out their Smokers, and depending upon where you will need it, we might be able to find someone to come out and help you.
