I don't know how many other Big Lots will feature this deal. I got this at 35th/T-Bird. Seems to me that Gebhardt's sells for $3.50-$4.50 in the grocery stores. I hate running out. I bought 5.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

From About.com; "It was in 1902 that William Gebhardt, a German Immigrant in New Braunfels, Texas, created a "chili powder" which helped popularize chili throughout the Southwest. His brand is still one of the most popular, and specified in many recipes."
OK. Not NM. But not screw york, either. Besides, it's the only chili powder brand name I know.

WOW.. That's a great price.  I use it at all my chili competitions, not for heat but for chili flavor.  Hope they have some at my Big Lots...
