I understand that the Brinkman water pan is larger than the standard WSM pan -- how much bigger?
I have look at Lowe's and HD and have not found one -- where to buy?

Actually you want the Brinkman charcoal pan not the water pan. That is if you are putting it in the WSM for use as a water pan.

IMHO!!!  No pan upgrade needed...just wrap the WSM pan in foil (easier to clean) and leave it alone.  ;)

We alway wrap in foil - I believe we have stock in alumium foil -- what I am trying to do is get a larger waterpan for our 22.5 WSM they don't seem to make foil wide enough to cover the pan and it leaks. So we have been using a 18.5 WSM water pan and it keeps the 22.5 WSM pan clean. One thing I have found is that the smaller water pan does not want to center very well. I think a ring like you would use in a 1960's wok might steady the water pan. Still looking for something larger -- hence brinkman water pan or charcoal pan.

I tried foil in my Pro Q water pan too, and it leaked. Now I use a large aluminum roasting pan. The kind that's almost round. Found them at the 99 cent only store. You can almost get it stretched and shaped perfectly to fit.

Johnny -- we layer the pan then make small foil balls flatten them -- place them in the water pan and refoil twice we have no leaks. We then replace the one dirty layer of foil with new. This is on the 18.5 only so far.

Jim, I thought you other post said you have a leak problem. I figured you could try the roast pan in your WSM.
