U.S. Brisket Smoked with AZ Pecan!!

Have not smoked in awhile so I bought this 16.1 lb Choice Brisket From French's Meat Shoppe this morning. Now just smellin the smoke:


I used the AZ Cajun Rub that I bought at one of the club's functions:



Will send more pic's later after some fermented Water: that is Beer to the folks from New York City.

Azmonsoon, the Beer is gone and they are filled with water about 16 cans in the pit and above that you see.
The grill is 44 yrs ole' and was my Dad's. I hauled it from OKLA. to here many moons ago.

Looks like the 40 year old does a great job..
Good bark and juicy.... Bet it tasted great also...
Like the cans good idea... Maybe next time leave some beer in them help with taste...LOL

I love smoking with Pecan. I have a friend that has a small orchard and when a tree needs to come down he knows ill do it for free (if i get the wood) so he calls bout 2 twice a year. that keeps me smoking.
