Tucson Pig Roast

Got the chance to participate a bit at this year's Tucson Pig Roast at Dr. Dave and Sandra's Ranch in East Tucson Sat-Sun.

Saturday night was a Turkey Cookoff of sorts, with two birds deep fried and the Host offering up a smoked version. 

Sunday was all about the pig, with two 35-40 pounders enjoying about 5 hours of smoke and heat.

Plenty of side items to go around and some cold beer provided by the Tucson Homebrew Club.

Wow, great looking event.  I wish I could make one of those some time.  They always seem to fall on days I am already committed out.

Great pictures and that food looked incredible...
