Since I missed the 3 day sale at Bashas for the 1.99 St. Louis Ribs, I stopped by my local Frys to pick some up at just a little higher price.

Started off Spritzing the Ribs with apple juice then I rubbed them down with Obie-Cues Sweet Rub Bbq Spice.

Then onto the smoker grate, took awhile to get it up to 225 in this great weather but I got it done with my wifes hairdryer.

I had some chicken thighs in the fridge, so I figure I would rub them with some Plowboys Fin and Feather.

after 4 1/2 hours I pulled the ribs along with the chicken thighs I threw on later in the smoke.

All pulled off and a lil smoke ring action.. :)

Made some Killer Mac N Cheese (recipe I found on this board)

Here it is plated..

Mac N Cheese was delicious, That PLowboys Fin and Feather is an amazing rub.. (thanks to the guy at Bbq Island for steering me towards that one) and the Obie Cue rub was good.

Nice!  I hope the FDA makes meat and mac n cheese the only two food groups!

Why not!?  With meat and Mac n cheese you got everything there all ready.  Cows had to eat grass or grain, a vegetable.  Mac came from wheat flour which came from wheat which is a plant, i.e. vegetable.  Cheese is a dairy so you got that.  Everything is there!!  ;D
